The Fine Print
Who can join
U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents only. Federal law (52 U.S.C. § 30121) prohibits contributions from foreign nationals — including financial contributions and volunteering. No exceptions.
Tax status
MathPolitics is a Section 527 political organization. Contributions are not tax deductible. This is not a charity — it's a weapon.
Your privacy
Membership is capped at $8/month ($96/year) — deliberately below the FEC itemization threshold ($200/year) and California FPPC threshold ($100/year). Individual member names do not appear in public filings. MathPolitics is required by federal law to retain internal records of all contributions and disbursements for three years after the corresponding report is filed (52 U.S.C. § 30102(d)).
Independence
Paid for by MathPolitics. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee. We do not contribute to candidates. We do not coordinate with campaigns.
